Pokemon GO Update Adds Legendaries Entei, Raikou, and Suicune Today

A new trio of Legendary Pokemon are coming to the mobile game Pokemon GO, beginning Thursday.

According to Pokemon lore, Raikou, Entei and Suicune were resurrected by Legendary Pokemon Ho-Oh after the Brass Tower was burned. The patch notes for update version 0.73.1 for Android and 1.43.1 for iOS confirmed that players can now spin the Photo Discs at Gyms with the Go Plus... Oddly they're being rolled out "across the world" over the "next several months", and will spend a month in each region - they've found a way to keep raids relevant for longer, it seems.

Entei, a Fire Type with lion and mastiff features, represents the fire itself.

Niantic released a statement, saying that while the Legendary Pokemon are traveling around the world, they will also start a new battle called Ex Raid Battle.

Sevilla-target Jovetic set for Monaco
This was Monaco's 16th straight league win, extending its record after last week beating the mark of 14 held by Bordeaux in 2009. There was no official confirmation from PSG or Monaco and Mbappe looked relaxed as he sat on the bench as an unused substitute.

On September 30, the Pokemon will rotate to new locations, and remain there until October 31.

The last set of Legendaries was handled a bit differently: the same legendary was available worldwide, but only for a week at a time (until the last few days, at which point they were all briefly available simultaneously).

Starting August 31, Raikou will be available in the Americas, Entei will dominate Europe and Africa, and Suicune will make a splash in the Asia-Pacific region, Business Insider reported. Players get an entire month to catch a Legendary Pokemon within their regions before another Legendary Pokemon takes over. A glitch was discovered soon after the first Raids launched that made it impossible to catch a Raid Boss with your final Premier Ball. Finally on October 31, the beasts will move to a third and final location.
