Hours before BJP national president Amit Shah's arrival, Odisha chief minister and BJD supremo Naveen Patnaik had expressed his "doubt" over the saffron party's "Mission 120", an aim to clinch 120 seats in the Assembly polls.

Party sources said the names of many leaders expected to be inducted into the government were struck off at the behest of Shah as he wanted them to play key roles in the organisation to implement his strategy for 2019.
"Surgical strike speaks of the strong political will of the Modi government. The development was halted during the Congress government", Shah added.
He further criticised Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik for celebrating his best administrator award given by news magazine.
