How much rain will Hurricane Irma send our way?

Most of the remnant moisture from what was once Hurricane Irma is now diffuse and weak, though some of it will drift our way at the same time a cold front approaches from Canada.

Expect plenty of clouds Wednesday with spots of light rain, especially late in the afternoon and evening. Some scattered storms are possible this afternoon. Temperatures will top out in the upper 60s for most, but folks in the Big Sandy will likely venture into the lower 70s since the rain arrives later. Highs both days will be in the middle & upper 70s. Tomorrow will offer the best chance for rain this week as the low that was once Irma lifts over Pennsylvania.

By Friday, we will likely run the highest chance for showers and even some thunderstorms, compliments of Irma's remnants. Passing showers are possible just before midnight. Skies were filled with bright sunshine and highs got well into the 70s & low 80s. Partly to mostly sunny skies are anticipated. Shoreline temperatures will be lower since there will be a more pronounced southeasterly breeze later in the weekend.
