JioPhone Delivery Begins, 6 Million Handsets to be Distributed in 15 Days


People who book their Jio phone are eagerly waiting for the unit, around 6 million phones were booked and according to Relinace Jio company handsets will be deliver to people during the time of Navratri and the delivery will be completed in 15 days. "Therefore, delivery of JioPhone will start this Sunday in rural areas and small towns", the channel partner told PTI.

As per this report, the firm will be delivering these 6 million handsets in a phase of 12-15 days.

Replying to a tweet by a consumer about the JioPhone delivery, Lyf Smartphones twitter page My Lyf responded that they have started the delivery of Reliance JioPhone in a phased manner.

Moreover, that official, who is unwilling to disclose his name has also stated that the customers who have pre-booked the handset will get it before the Diwali, which falls on 19th October, this year. Jio has not yet resumed pre-bookings for their JioPhone, which is a 4G VoLTE smart feature phone.

The user will receive an SMS regarding final delivery dates of this feature phone. By the 1.2GHz dual-core SPRD 9820A/QC8905 processor, the smartphone has powered and came with 512MB of RAM.

On the rear, it has a 2-megapixel primary camera and a 0.3-megapixel front shooter for selfies.
