Sony has announced the launch of its second flagship release for this year, the Sony Xperia XZ1, in India with a price tag of Rs 44,990. The smartphone will be available via both online and offline channels from September 25 onward. The device also comes with IPS 68 rating which implies that the device is dust and water resistant. The two were basically the same, only the latter carried a 4.6-inch 720p screen instead of the 5.2-inch 1080p one on the former. Other than that, the device features a 5-axis stabilisation which enables slow-motion video recording at 960fps. The front camera of the phone is also powered by Sony's Exmor RS imaging sensor.
The Sony Xperia XZ1 will be available starting October 4 in US for $599 and for £499 in UK.
Looking closer reveals some differences from the XZs, such as a thinner and lighter design, newer and faster Snapdragon 835 processor, HDR display and a smaller battery.
India expected to focus on Pakistan, terrorism
According to some estimates, the USA issues 85,000 H1-B visas every year out of which Indians reportedly get about 60,000 visas. The reality is that Pakistan's politicians remember everything, but manipulate their memory according to their convenience.
The smartphone's 19MP rear camera can scan an object and save the file as a 3D image after which you can share the file on social media or even print it via a 3D printer. The device is yet to launch in India and is expected to be released in the sub-Rs 35,000 price segment. It runs on latest Android Oreo. The phone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo operating system. This combination is complemented by 4GB RAM, 64GB onboard storage with microSD card expansion option.
The Xperia XZ1 will be available in Black colour only from today onwards at Rs. 44,990.
The most stand-out feature on the XZ1 is the ability of the phone's primary 19 MP camera to scan objects (and people) in crisp and clear 3D. With flagship specifications, the phone comes with Sony's Motion Eye camera and an HDR Triluminous display. The front camera lens has a f/2.0 aperture.
Lastly, we have some sensible pricing from Sony. It will come with QuickCharge 3.0 support and Sony will be bundling the Quick Charger UCH-12.
