Injuries in Falcons' loss a reminder of what they'll have to overcome

Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones was ruled out of Sunday afternoon's game against the Buffalo Bills due to a hip injury. Atlanta led the National Football League in scoring in 2016 and, led by quarterback Matt Ryan, has scored 30 or more points in two straight wins over Green Bay and Detroit. Atlanta would turn the ball over on downs deep in Buffalo territory inside of a minute left. It really limited what Matt Ryan could do in the passing game late, but could have used at least one of them in their failed attempt at staying flawless. The Bills can credit a revamped defense for the wins.

Frazier and coach Sean McDermott have implemented a new system in Buffalo that features a 4-3 alignment and a zone-based coverage scheme. Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor wasn't flawless, but felt comfortable trying to air it out against the Atlanta secondary all afternoon.

The inactives have been released by the Falcons for the game against the Bills and there aren't any real surprises on there.
