The President of the United States of America's ex-wife has written a book on their failed marriage.
In an opening excerpt from the memoir, Ivana gives props to her sons for being family men and tag-teaming the family business, but she spends triple the word count on her star daughter, Ivanka. "Okay? I'm first lady", she explained.
The divorce came under scrutiny during the 2016 election, when it was reported that Ivana once signed a sworn deposition alleging Trump had raped her. "I can only shake my head at how insane it was", Ivana writes.
She writes, "This young blonde woman approached me out of the blue and said 'I'm Marla and I love your husband".
Ivana is also considered to be Trump's adviser, cautioning the President against his tweeting habits, but she however understands the need to do so. "And if you want to get your words across rightly, without telling The New York Times, which is going to twist every single word of yours, this is how you get your message out'".
New Zealand election: Nationalist party kingmaker after final vote count released
National Party Leader Bill English says today's result confirmed the National Party is in a strong position as the largest party. A National/NZ First government would have 65 seats, while a Labour/Greens/NZ First government would have 63 seats.
Ivana was married to Donald from 1977 to 1992 in the book she details the moment she knew her marriage was over.
In an interview promoting her book, ex-wife Ivana Trump made an offhanded comment that she speaks to the president at least once a week. Ms Ivana however claims she doesn't use her "direct number" to the White House because " Melania is there". "First Mother? That could work", Trump wrote in her eagerly-anticipated book, an early copy of which was obtained by The Associated Press. Her children also contribute passages to the book, and Ivana Trump muses that her former husband may not be the only Trump to call the White House home.
Donald and Ivana are now on good terms.
Discussing a potential run by Ivanka, her mother said she could see her daughter making a move for office: "Maybe in fifteen years she could run for president".
'It's a new way, a new technology. "Raising Trump" is set to be published next week.
Despite their messy divorce and his affair, Donald and Ivana are on good terms now, and even speak almost once a week.
