SC was invited to the White House earlier this month, but the Gamecocks will be unable to attend.

On Thursday, head coach Dawn Staley said her team was extended an invitation by the White House but has turned it down.

The Gamecocks did have a game Thursday night, a 66-36 win over rival Clemson at home. "The only invitation we are thinking about is to the 2018 NCAA Tournament". "I don't know what else has to happen".

When the Gamecocks won South Carolina's first NCAA basketball title in April, Staley said her team would go to the White House if invited, despite the growing public antipathy toward Trump.

Previous movies featured on " See It/Skip It " were "Bad Moms Christmas", "Thor: Ragnarok", and " Murder on the Orient Express ". Depending on how you feel about Thursday screenings, Justice League is either finally arriving tomorrow or on Friday.

Trump celebrated the Collegiate National Champions of 2016 and 2017 at the White House on Friday.

When South Carolina's invitation to Friday's White House event finally did arrive earlier this month, Staley declined it. One of those will be College World Series Champion Florida. "We'll go to the White House".

The Golden State Warriors had an invite, but it was later rescinded by the White House when President Donald Trump tweeted that star guard Stephen Curry was "hesitating" in deciding whether to make the traditional champions' trip to Washington.

Staley made no mention of politics nor hurt feelings in her statement. The University of North Carolina's 2017 national championship men's basketball team said earlier this year it could not agree on a date for a visit. She represented the U.S. Olympic team when George W. Bush was president in 2004.
