What does Kristaps Porzingis' torn ACL mean for fantasy basketball owners?

The injury came in the second quarter of the Knicks matchup against the Bucks, just after Porzingis had dunked on Bucks center Giannis Antetokounmpo. It will be the first game for the Knicks since Kristaps Porzingis (knee) tore his ACL, so they will need everything Hardaway Jr. has on offense. Middleton is the only Milwaukee player to start all 53 games this season.

Porzingis had hoped they would fight all the way to the playoffs for the first time in his career. Veterans such as Jarett Jack and Courtney Lee should ride the bench more often then they have been (if they don't get traded by the deadline) so the Knicks can see what these young players have to offer the Knicks going into next season.

Anthony and Porzingis spent two seasons as teammates with the Knicks from 2015 to 2017.

Kristaps is only the latest National Basketball Association star player to be injured, along with John Wall, DeMarcus Cousins, and Kevin Love. This injury most likely removes any playoff hopes for the team and the future of the franchise hinges upon how well Porzingis can come back from this injury.

José Mourinho finally concedes title race is over
Manchester United have been in good form this season and they are looking to tighten their hold on the Champions League places. We did it last season at Stamford Bridge after one minute but to concede straight from kick-off is ridiculous.

NY (23-32) entered play Tuesday remaining hopeful of making a playoff run, though missing Porzingis for extended time would certainly dampen those hopes. Porzingis said it was his "dream come true" to make the All-Star team.

NY was leading 31-30 at the time of his injury, and Porzingis was off to a great start in the game, scoring 10 points after hitting four of his first five shots. "Jeff and his group are working really hard with this basketball team and doing the very best they can, and obviously this is an adversity for them to deal with KP being out, but I'm confident that they'll be able to do a good job of keeping this team playing hard and playing together".

The harsh reality of seeing an underperforming team without a star player could ignite free agency moves this off-season as well as big trades on draft night. Perry said he's still trying to add more athleticism and talked to Orlando about penetrating point guard Elfrid Payton, whom he drafted for the Magic.

The Knicks fell to the Bucks, 103-89, dropping in the team standings to 23-32. "That's what we'll be looking at moving forward".
