Moto G6 Plus Cases Leak, Along With Phone Renders


Motorola is said to be lining up the launch of its latest Moto G6 Plus.

A couple of protective cases seemingly meant for the upcoming Motorola Moto G6 Plus have leaked online in renders, indirectly confirming the smartphone's design and offering a sneak preview on how the device might look like when wrapped in silicon or leather. What's notable is that Motorola didn't launch the Play variant for its fifth-generation of Moto G smartphones. We're curious to know about the other phones, the Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play, that are rolling out with the Moto G6 Plus. It's pretty clear that the company is going to unveil Moto G6 series, Moto Z3 series and Moto X5 in the coming weeks, even if it's not at the MWC 2018.

It's not long ago that we came across the Moto G6 and G6 Plus codenames and today, we have fresh details regarding the color variants of the latter model thanks to Android Headlines.

According to previously leaked information, Moto G6 Plus is purely a mid-range device that will be fueled by Snapdragon 630 64-bit octa-core processor. The smartphone is expected to run Android 8.0 Oreo and will sport 3GB RAM. The Moto G6 Plus will launch in Silver, Gold, White, Blue and Cyan colour variants as per the image. A recent leak showed the handset score 1801 points in multi-core performance and 472 in the single-core test. It is speculated to feature a 5.7-inch Full HD+ display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels It also expected to sport an 18:9 aspect ratio display. The lower bezel bears the physical home button which is probably embedded with a fingerprint scanner. Several reports have revealed the codenames - Ashley, Blaine and Teller - of the smartphones. However, we can expect that the new Moto G6 smartphones will be announced at the Mobile World Congress 2018 next week at Barcelona, Spain.
