Trump Wants Death Penalty for Murderous Drug Pushers

Speaking at a White House summit on the opioid epidemic on Thursday, Trump threatened to sue companies that manufacture painkillers with an eye toward halting the opioid addiction epidemic in US.

First lady Melania Trump delivered opening remarks at the summit, remarking on her travels in recent months with the president across the country, in which she visited hospitals and treatment centers, where she's been briefed by those directly impacted by the crisis.

Kellyanne Conway, a senior adviser to President Donald Trump, was moderating the two-hour event featuring top officials from the departments of Health and Human Services, Veterans Affairs, Housing and Urban Development, State, Justice and Homeland Security.

The president's comments came just after the West Virginia attorney general announced a lawsuit against the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration in an effort to decrease opioid prescriptions in the U.S.

Also on the agenda: a question-and-answer session with Jim Carroll, the recently named acting director of the Office of National Drug Control Policy.

"So we're going to have to be very strong on penalties", Efe quoted Trump as saying. During the summit, President Trump said he had previously urged Attorney General Jeff Sessions to take legal action on behalf of the federal government against the companies.

All across America, there is a huge problem with people selling opioids and the people buy them getting hooked on them and dying from overdoses.

Ross recommended the tariffs, as Breitbart News reported, to Trump - noting that the goal is to increase domestic steel production to 80 percent from its current rate of 73 percent, while also increasing the American production of aluminum to 80 percent from its current rate of only 48 percent. "The administration has prioritized the issue and is implementing strategies around saving lives, lowering demand and lowering supply", said Adams.
