A new report compares the well-being of almost every county in the United States.
The report ranks Milwaukee County at No. 71 of the state's 72 counties for both its health outcomes and health factors.
Click this map to see the OH county rankings. The United Way of Greater Richmond & Petersburg's 2017-18 Indicators of Community Health reported that, between 2000 and 2015, Petersburg saw a 70 percent decrease in its rate of teen pregnancies.
This year, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation focused its analysis on health gaps and said nationwide data show they "persist not only by place, but also among racial and ethnic groups" and are largely the result "of differences in opportunities in the places where we live".
"We see data that represent things that are happening throughout the country", Trujillo says. "Kansas and Wyandotte County are no different there".
The city of Richmond dropped down five spots to 114th in the County Health Ranking's 2018 report.
The category considers health behaviors, clinical care, physical environment, and social and economic factors.
Pennsylvania's top ranked county was Chester County and the last was 67 Philadelphia.
This is the ninth year the rankings have been published. Nassau County was ranked 23nd, Duval County was ranked No. 42 and Baker County was ranked 48th.

The biggest problem reflected in the numbers is Bexar County's rate of sexually transmitted infections. Today, 1 in 5 children grow up in poverty.

That's up one spot from past year when the county was ranked number 33.
The CHD has also established the Crater Healthy Corner Store Initiative to help create easy access points for fresh fruits and vegetables in community settings with the least amount of access.
The rankings, which can be viewed here, use more than 30 measurable factors to rank the overall health of communities nationwide. The goal of the project is to give communities a window into their health and provide opportunities for improvement. Of the children living in poverty in Milwaukee County, 50 percent are black, 37 percent are Hispanic and 10 percent are white.
The percentage of Beaufort County's population with adequate access to locations for physical activity was 82 percent, compared to the state's 54 percent. Flagler County's ranking held steady at 14th.

For example, 22 percent of North Carolina children live in poverty, compared with the national rate of 20 percent. "The County Health Rankings underscore the need to make children's health a priority and invest in what we know works", said Karen Ordinans, executive director of the Children's Health Alliance of Wisconsin.
