It stands to reason that Ken Levine won't be involved with the project, as he's working on a new game with his new studio called Ghost Story Games. Some went to other game companies; others moved to the top-secret studio next door to work on an unannounced new BioShock game.
Despite the amount of secrecy surrounding the project, word got out that the project code-named Parkside was actually the next entry in the BioShock franchise.
Officially nothing has been confirmed as of yet for a new BioShock title to be in development but for those that want to read the full post breakdown from Schreier and see what else is pieced together, check out his post here.
Liverpool move into semi-final with win over Man City
I'm definitely confident that next season we can push everyone, even ourselves, to do better from the beginning to the end".
2K had stated previously that the franchise had a life beyond the now-defunct Irrational Games, but thanks to Kotaku's Jason Schreier's investigation into another 2K studio, we now know Bioshock is set for a return with a top-secret 2K studio and is being made under the codename "Parkside". But, the game came out in 2013 and many are wondering 'what's next?'
The revelations also confirm that 2K is playing it safe with the next installment in the BioShock series. It's mostly about how developer, Hangar 13 were unsatisfied with how the game was received and how they felt they lost their way during development.
Whether this studio is the same one working on the next BioShock at the moment is not known. Of course, money talks, and the BioShock games have sold over 25 million copies, so it seems the series may be coming back. We've been to the depths of the oceans and up to the heavens, maybe space is the next frontier?
