It was the right thing for the character, it was the right thing for the world.

The Walking Dead season 8 finale set off to do the seemingly impossible - wrap up the long war of the Saviors against Rick and his allies.

The new showrunners, Andrew Chambliss and Ian Goldberg, also teased viewers with information about a new group of villains appearing in Episode 2 of Fear the Walking Dead Season 4 when they were interviewed by The Hollywood Reporter. For about a year he has been on his own and has found solace in carrying conversations with himself. However, the latest trailer for Fear the Walking Dead Season 4, Episode 2, does indicate that Madison has been reunited with them.

Fans of the original source material knew that if the show were to follow the books then this is where the story would lead, but it's the events that follow which remain shocking.

They likely won't get it. Whatever his story may be, Morgan is now a part of it.

But "The Walking Dead" has been softening Negan's character a bit. Rick, Maggie, and Morgan may have defeated Negan, but there is still a long road ahead to the peace they want for their groups.

From Morgan's perspective, he slowly makes his way towards Texas via vehicle and foot and eventually runs into John. "But in the end, the people around him affected him too deeply".

Not much info here as to who will be on the battlefield, but it's safe to say everyone is going to get a piece of action. He then takes off by himself and runs to a tree.

I'm sure we'd all like to know why the Clark siblings and their friends are acting like desperadoes, and what this means for Morgan and his new pals. They realized their unfortunate situation when they heard eerie Saviors' whistling, a callback to an earlier trap that resulted in the bludgeoning murders of Abraham and pregnant Maggie's husband, Glenn.

Audiences shared Negan's devastated expression as he collapses just in time for the rest of Rick's people to see the result. And he kept on trying to fight it, He tried to drink his way out of it, he couldn't sleep.

Signs with the number "51" keep popping up everywhere and Al mentions that they have been for the past few weeks but has no idea why. But we know what we're doing, given the parameters under which we're operating. The episode started off rather slowly, even though it seemed like there was so much they had to cover in the episode. They plan on having him rot in a cell for the rest of his life, where he cannot only witness how they rebuild society, but where he will serve as a symbol of a better future, aka, one where it doesn't have to just be about killing and hate, but a return to mercy, law and order, and a more maintainable civilization. Can we say BFFs? Considering he nearly certainly knows what and where that is referring to, what will he do once they find each other? It is in that moment that Morgan and John share that they don't kill as they go to inspect the suspecting body.

Although she wasn't seen in the finale, Georgie's (Jayne Atkinson) impending influence also feels imminent.

How did Alicia survive?

In a twist that seemed out of character, she promised what sounded like revenge. And, if so, just how big of one will we get?
