Although the now rolling-out Android Oreo update for Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge brings April 2018 security patches to the pair, the update has only been confirmed for the European market with model numbers SM-G930F and SM-G935F.
As first reported by SamMobile, Android Oreo is now starting its rollout to the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 Edge in the United Kingdom. The update measures in at 1.3GB, so make sure you're connected to Wi-Fi before you download and install the new software.
Do you use a Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 edge as your daily driver? To rub salt into the wounds of those customers, S7 and S7 edge units in the United Kingdom are now actually receiving the Oreo update.
CSK vs MI: Who will win today's IPL 2018 game?
While Mumbai have managed only one win in their six matches, the Mahendra Singh Dhoni-led outfit has won five of their six games. While Dhoni is leading CSK from the front, the pivotal man for Mumbai is Rohit Sharma and he has fired just once in six innings.
A noteworthy aspect of the Android Oreo is the Rescue Party feature, which helps the device recover from constant boot loops. Samsung officially confirmed the Android 8.0 Oreo update for mid-May, so it's just a couple of weeks away. It's an update to the Android 8.0-based EMUI 8.0, which is a tad disappointing, as you'd expect a heavily marketed device like the Honor 7X to be receiving Android 8.1 by now. That's where it has started rolling out the update over-the-air today so it's likely going to take some time before the update goes live in other markets across the globe.
Along with that, all the features of Android Oreo 8.0 such as the picture in picture mode, better doze, enhanced Auto-fill fields in any browser and much more are here.
