New York Mets right-hander Jacob deGrom left Wednesday's start against the Atlanta Braves after four scoreless innings due to a hyperextended right elbow, the team announced. DeGrom pitched smoothly through the heart of Atlanta's order in the fourth, but then told the staff his biceps was sore and left for the clubhouse after 46 pitches.

The over is 5-1 in deGrom's last six home starts, is 11-4 in his last 15 outings overall, and is 5-2 in his last seven outings against the rest of the National League East. During his four innings of work he surrendered two hits, no runs, and had six strikeouts.

Manager Mickey Callaway said that the intial discomfort came after deGrom struck out against Braves starter Sean Newcomb. Paul Sewald took the loss, falling to 0-2 this season after giving up three runs in three innings of relief. Ryan Flaherty then made it a back-to-back night and put the Braves up a touchdown at 7-0 with his second homer to straight away center. "We lost fair and square", Frazier said. Reliever Shane Carle (0.96 ERA) could be back as early as Wednesday after leaving early with a finger injury in his prior appearance. "He said, 'You know what?"

"I respect him for doing that", Frazier said of the umpire who met with him.

National Assembly Fails to Elect Nikol Pashinyan as Prime Minister
Three parliamentary factions - the Tsarukyan bloc, Dashnaktsutyun and Yelk - have already announced they would vote for Pashinyan.

Freddie Freeman, whose RBI single in the sixth inning broke a scoreless tie, began a four-run flurry in the eighth by singling with one out.

Obviously, this may mean there is a chance Matt Harvey could return to the rotation. He added deGrom was getting an MRI with the results available Thursday.

He hasn't allowed a run in his past 18 1/3 innings. Bautista did homer for Triple-A Gwinnett on Tuesday, and I'm sure you missed that guy.Plus, when you're there, you can see the other team score a bunch of runs too.

"Whatever happens (with deGrom), we can sit here and worry about it, cry about it, whatever". However, the offense behind him seems to be cooking at higher levels more consistently, and they will be going against a Mets team that's had some problems on the mound lately. "Somebody's going to have to step up if we get some bad news". He went into Tuesday's game leading the team in homers (nine) and RBIs (20) while hitting.293.
