Stormy Daniels' Lawyer Michael Avenatti: Rudy Giuliani's Interview Was a 'Train Wreck'

Trump is anxious that the payment - which prevented a potential scandal just days before the 2016 election - might constitute an illegal campaign donation if Cohen used his own funds, as he has claimed, and was not reimbursed.

Meanwhile, Fox News Judge Jeanine Pirro's Saturday night show is appointment viewing for the president.

The Republican president, facing legal troubles on several fronts, also indicated he would be willing to be interviewed in special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation, but only if he knew he would be treated fairly.

In what appeared to be a rather tense press briefing, reporters confronted White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders on Thursday about Rudy Giuliani's bombshell admission that President Donald Trump repaid his lawyer for hush money given to adult film star Stormy Daniels.

Giuliani leaned heavily on his creditability as a former prosecutor in the Southern District of New York-especially when it came to bashing Comey.

When Trump asks what it's going to take for her to drop this whole thing, Daniels said, "a resignation", to the cacophonous cheer of the studio audience.

Her attorney, Michael Avenatti, tweeted Friday that "Mr. Giuliani and Mr. Trump are making it up as they go along".

"He is a great guy", Trump said.

Though Trump and Giuliani defended the payment episode, critics said it violated the campaign finance laws as it was an undeclared contribution made at averting negative publicity for the candidate.

Sibanye's James Wellsted says this is the third tremor in the same area since Thursday. He said the two miners still trapped are "probably dead as well".

However he has said he reimbursed his lawyer Michael Cohen for the $130,000 payment, which he says was created to stop Ms Daniels from making "false and extortionist" statements.

Trump took Giuliani to the woodshed for his gaffe Friday morning. We learned from NBC in March that Cohen had finalized the payment to Daniels from his Trump Organization email address.

Then, Kate McKinnon appeared as newly-appointed Trump lawyer and former NYC mayor Rudy Giuliani, who promised to reveal one new crime a week; Cecily Strong reprised her role as Melania Trump; and Leslie Jones was back as former White House staffer Omarosa.

That statement was an attempt to resolve three days of shifting stories from the former New York City mayor about Cohen's payment and Trump's knowledge of it. "How could I ever be confident of that", he said. Times reporters are probably investigating that at this very moment, although only Cohen may know the full truth. But Trump sought to bolster his standing on Friday.

Daniels filed a lawsuit over the nondisclosure agreement, claiming it was void because Trump never signed it himself.

Newly minted Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani went on Hannity last Wednesday and created major problems for his client.

This makes him the ideal TV representative for the Trump administration. It's bad enough, he must think, that his actual chief of staff is undermining him. I'm giving you a fact now that you don't know.
