Netanyahu Heads for Putin Talks After Trump Pullout from Iran Deal


Tensions between the two countries escalated on Tuesday when Israel said it had detected "irregular Iranian activity" in the occupied Golan Heights region of Syria.

In a statement, the army said its troops are on high alert for an attack and defense systems have been deployed.

Reuters quoted Israeli military spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Jonathan Conricus as saying Israel intercepted "a few" of the rockets and there were no reports of casualties and that damage to Israeli positions was "limited".
