A fourth former Ohio State University wrestler came forward Thursday, telling NBC News that Jordan, as assistant coach, knew the team's doctor was sexually abusing student athletes but didn't do anything to stop it.

"It's absolutely untrue the things that have been said about me if there had been any reports of abuse I would have reported it", Jordan told reporters Thursday. One man said he directly reported the abuse to Jordan; all four said Jordan could not have been unaware of the inappropriate behavior. Jordan was among the people Yetts told about groping the first time in happened in 1992, Yetts told The Associated Press Tuesday.

Trump's defense of Jordan comes the same day he formally announced he had hired Bill Shine, who resigned as co-president of Fox News after he was accused of covering up alleged sexual harassment at the media company. He said in an interview on Tuesday that he had confided in Mr. Jordan multiple times about "the way Strauss performed physicals on us". "We all did", Dailey told NBC News.

He added, "We not only stand by him, but believe him to be a man of character and honor, and Congress would be well served to have more Jim Jordans serving on Capitol Hill".

Dailey identified himself as a "close friend" of Jordan, and once contributed to his campaign.

Lopez Obrador previously vowed to throw the energy reform out but now says contracts merely will be reviewed for any illegalities. He wants Trump to help pay for economic development in Mexico so Mexicans don't leave to work in the United States.

Jordan acknowledged that Strauss was among faculty members and other employees who used the same open shower area as athletes in the building where they practiced, but he said he and other coaches with whom he has spoken weren't aware of any abuse by Strauss.

Former UFC world champion Mark Coleman has became the fifth former Ohio State wrestler to claim publicly that Rep.

"And look, if there are people who are abused, then that's awful and we want justice to happen", he added in his remarks to Politico. "It was very common knowledge in the locker room that if you went to Dr. Strauss for anything, you would have to pull your trousers down".

The university said its investigation includes "outreach to former student-athletes, coaches and others who may have been affected or may have had knowledge of these alleged incidents".

Mike DiSabato, one of the former wrestlers who's come forward with the accusations, has called Jordan a "liar" over his denials. "Jim Jordan has an obligation to cooperate fully with that investigation".

Dailey said it was "hurtful" Jordan is denying any knowledge of the alleged abuse.
